Lovely moments captured from a wedding we did last fall. A Persian sofreh was an important part of the ceremony ~ learning about different wedding traditions is such a fun part of what we do. Thank you Junshien International Photographers for the stunning details!
I’m honored to announce that Gingerleaf Floral has been selected as a 2015 winner in The Knot Best of Weddings, an award representing the highest-rated wedding professionals as reviewed by real couples, their families and wedding guests on The Knot. We’re thrilled to have won the Wedding Wire Couples’ Choice Awards for 2015 ~ this is the fourth year in a row we’ve won this prestigious honor. A huge thank you to all the amazing couples we worked with in 2014. What a great way to start off 2015!
Rich, warm tones added pops of color to this 50th birthday celebration. The event took place at the Claremont Country Club ~ one of our favorite venues and hidden gems of Oakland. But we decided to shake up the traditional decor of the President’s Room with modern groupings of roses, parrot tulips, carnations, mokara orchids …
It’s always fun to look back on the various weddings and events we’ve been a part of ~ here are some of our favorite bouquets from 2014! Special thanks to Nicole Nelson Photography, Michael James Photography, and Marianne Wilson Photography for their photos.
We loved the drama of these tall Manzanita “trees” along the length of the king’s table. In between we designed fall-colored branch “bundles” to complete the table scape. Happy Fall!
Rain was threatening to dampen the ceremony and our spirits for this lovely outdoor wedding (check out those clouds)! Luckily ~ the ceremony was still able to take place outdoors, and without a hitch. Love can apparently conquer bad weather!
I LOVE that each of the bridesmaids got to showcase her unique beauty and individuality ~ just like the beautiful bride. So perfect.
Who says fall weddings have to be orange and red? We certainly don’t! We used deep burgundy, shades of pink and purple, with chartreuse and orange accents to create this lush look. We used some of our favorite materials, including orchids, gomphrena (those fun purple balls), jasmine, and coxcomb. Throw in some champagne grapes and …
Loved working on this berry-rich wedding, especially at the Palm Event Center, one of our favorite wedding venues. The space is warm, rich, and inviting. Congratulations Amanda and Dale ~ we’re thrilled to have been a part of your wedding celebration!
